The University of Montana will open its first public physician associate program this fall following national accreditation approval. With high demand among applicants and targeted efforts toward addressing rural healthcare shortages statewide, university officials say they hope graduates will serve critical roles across Montana.
Joseph Crider spent this past school year bringing real-world classroom experience into teacher preparation courses at the University of Montana’s College of Education. After years in elementary classrooms across several states, he is now joining UM’s Center for the Advancement of Positive Education to support K-12 educators statewide.
