It’s Friday, and Missoula County Employees are working hard for you!

Visit http://missoula.co/news to meet Deputy Nick Janttie with the Sheriff’s Office. We are featuring Deputy Janttie this week for his brave and commendable work saving a child at the Western Montana Fair.

On Aug. 12, Deputy Janttie was on foot patrol at the Western Montana Fair, when he saw a male running like he had stolen something. When a call came through Deputy Janttie’s radio that a male had taken a 4-year-old child, Deputy Janttie quickly chased after the man he saw running and arrested him. Deputy Janttie’s quick response to this event saved the child from an attempted kidnapping.
