The City of Missoula’s Redevelopment Agency announced on Apr. 7 that it is seeking public input for the Reserve to Scott 2026 Master Plan through an online survey. Residents who could not attend the first public workshop are encouraged to review the workshop boards and participate in the survey.
The master planning process will include two additional workshops and surveys, providing more opportunities for community involvement. This effort aims to gather feedback from a broad range of residents about the study area, with more information available on Engage Missoula.
Missoula’s historical sites, such as the Wilma Theater and Lolo Trail, play a significant role in shaping its community identity, according to the official website. The city operates under authority granted by the State of Montana as outlined in its charter on the official website.
According to its charter, Missoula seeks to protect and enhance residents’ health, welfare, and security through legislative authority vested in its City Council according to the official website. Executive duties are performed by the Mayor as described in city documents on its official website. The city also serves residents within established wards and enables electors to exercise initiatives and referendums on resolutions or ordinances in line with state laws according to official records.
Looking ahead, continued participation from residents is expected during future workshops as part of ongoing efforts by city officials and agencies.
