Former Florence-Carlton High School standout and current Montana State Bobcats player, Patrick Duchien will compete in the NCAA Division I FCS Football Championship.
They begin the tournament as a number two seed against the seventh seeded Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks.
The first game is on Friday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m.
Montana junior Kevin Swindler heads into the NCAA Championships after breaking school records this season despite setbacks along the way. Supported by experienced coaches Doug and Erica Fraley, Swindler aims for All-American honors as he competes against top collegiate pole vaulters.
The University of Montana has announced its Grizzly Sports Hall of Fame class for 2026 featuring Will Cherry, Loni Perkins-Judisch, and Kris Nord. Their achievements span basketball excellence, track dominance, coaching longevity—and will be celebrated at an induction event this September.
Erin Wilde concluded her standout high jump career for Montana by finishing 32nd at NCAA West First Rounds in Fayetteville. The Grizzlies set a new program record with fourteen athletes qualifying for regionals this year.
