Rep. Ryan Zinke, who represents Montana’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, marked the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Marine Corps and Veterans Day with a series of social media posts honoring military service members and their families.
On November 10, 2025, Zinke posted: “Happy 250th birthday to the U.S. Marine Corps! The few, the proud, always faithful. Semper Fi https://t.co/UWry1ACpKC”.
The following day, on Veterans Day, he wrote: “This #VeteransDay we honor the men and women who wore the uniform in defense of our liberty and the families who stood beside them. From one veteran to another, thank you for your service and sacrifice. Montanans serve at one of the highest rates in the nation, and I’m proud to https://t.co/shXwHel1W9” (November 11, 2025).
Later that same day, Zinke shared a video message with: “Watch: Congressman Zinke delivers a message of unity on Veterans Day https://t.co/ftStbBrzg0” (November 11, 2025).
Zinke has served as Montana’s representative since 2023 after succeeding Steve Daines. He previously held office in the Montana Senate from 2009 to 2013. Born in Bozeman in 1961 and now residing in Whitefish, Zinke is also an alumnus of both the University of Oregon and National University.
