Shared Use Path Along the Whitefish River Will Be Open July 1, 2023

WHITEFISH, MONT. — The shared use path along the Whitefish River from the end of the railyard (north of the trestle) to Miles Avenue will be open July 1st and is to remain open, other than intermittent closures as needed for additional restoration work.  The eastern portion of the Roundhouse Landing river access, including the public dock, will also be open beginning July 1st.  The western portion of the Roundhouse Landing will continue to be closed for construction.  Park and path users are asked to stay on designated pathways and open park areas only. 

BNSF and the City will continue to work closely together to ensure the rehabilitation of the Roundhouse Landing river access.
