Salish Kootenai College enrolls 720 undergrads

At Salish Kootenai College, 61 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 64 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Pablo enrolled 720 students in fall 2018, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 9.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

84 percent of undergraduates are residents of Montana, and 16 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as American Indian or Alaska Native (75 percent) and white (22 percent).
