In a recent debate, Gov. Steve Bullock claimed that he would not support a ban on semi-automatic weapons.
Unfortunately for the governor, his record speaks for itself. In the past, Bullock has publicly called for a semi-automatic weapon ban, even doing so in an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper. In addition to public statements calling for more gun regulation, Bullock received an "F" rating from the NRA last year, the worst possible.
Bullock has a history of giving in to liberal overlords when it comes to gun control issues, according to a release on the Montana Republican Party website.
In a heated exchange on the debate, Bullock failed to steer attention from proven instances that he has announced support for a semi-automatic weapons ban. He continues to insist that he would not support it, even though the record suggests that he has voted for increased gun control in the past.
