Florence Ace Hardware to give away American flags

Florence Ace Hardware will give away free American flags on Saturday, May 28 to honor the Memorial Day holiday.

Montana lost 97 soldiers in the Korean war and 167 in the Vietnam conflict.

Consumers visiting the store at 5524 Old Hwy 93, Florence will receive a free 8’ by 12’ American flag. A second will be donated to the local VFW Stevensville Post to be used for marking veterans’ graves on Memorial Day.

This year, Ace Hardware Corporation aims to again give away more than one million American flags nationally. Last year, it gave away more than 500,000 to Ace customers and more than 550,000 to more than 1,900 VFW Posts.

Flags will be available at Florence Ace Hardware while quantities last. Each consumer is limited to one free flag; no purchase is necessary.

Florence Ace Hardware is located at 5524 Old Hwy 93, Florence, Montana. This location is owned by Ann Bethea, represented by Rusty Chapple and managed by Jim Bethea.
