Today, Congressman Ryan Zinke expressed support for a proposal by Yellowstone County Commissioners to use the MetraPark expo center in Billings, Montana, as a facility to detain and process illegal immigrants. This initiative aims to facilitate the return of these individuals to their countries of origin.
In his statement, Zinke emphasized Montana's readiness to assist with federal directives on immigration. "Round ‘em up! Send ‘em home. Montana stands ready to execute the President’s directive and remove the criminal illegal aliens from our communities and send them back home to their countries of origin," said Congressman Ryan Zinke (MT-01). He praised the commissioners' plan as "a creative, locally-driven solution for Montana to help end the border crisis that has reached into every community across the country."
The congressman commended Yellowstone County Commission for their service, stating, "Well done, Yellowstone County Commission. You’re serving the people who elected you and the American people at large."
