A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for north central Idaho and western Montana until 9pm MDT. Be alert for thunderstorms with heavy rain, frequent lightning, damaging winds, and large hail. Stay tuned to the National Weather Service for weather updates throughout the afternoon.

Missoula County is now accepting pre-applications for Community Development Block Grant funding until June 22. Eligible local organizations can propose housing, infrastructure, planning or economic development projects that benefit low- to moderate-income residents.
