Erin Wilde concluded her standout high jump career for Montana by finishing 32nd at NCAA West First Rounds in Fayetteville. The Grizzlies set a new program record with fourteen athletes qualifying for regionals this year.
Montana’s Kevin Swindler matched his school record despite rainy delays to qualify for the NCAA Championship meet in pole vaulting. Several other Grizzlies competed across multiple events as part of their regional campaign.
The Montana Grizzlies’ football team will face Idaho State under national television lights this November as part of an expanded Big Sky Conference agreement with ESPN networks. This marks a record number of league games aired by ESPN during one season.
