Pacific Cold Front Moves Over the Northern Rockies During the Evening Hours and Early Monday Morning | US National Weather Service Missoula Montana
An active period for severals days will begin Sunday as a Pacific cold front moves over the Northern Rockies during the evening hours and early Monday morning. This first round will primarily impact the mountains and mountain passes, with up to 6” of snow for Lookout, Lolo and Lost Trail Passes. Tuesday through Wednesday, another system will move over the region, this time allowing better chances for all elevations to see light snow accumulations. Temperatures during this period will be warmer than what we’ve experienced the past few days, but still 5 to 10 degrees below normal for this time of the year.
Minor impacts in the valleys and moderate impacts due to snow on mountain passes.
