The University of Montana has extended an invitation to the community and Griz supporters for its annual Winter Pep Rally and bonfire. The event is scheduled for 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, at the University Center and on the Oval.
Attendees can enjoy free games in the gaming den, face painting, and sign-making stations with Griz student athletes at the University Center. There will also be free snacks available, along with food for purchase and a beer garden.
A bonfire and fireworks display will occur outdoors on the Oval at 5:30 p.m., ahead of the men's basketball game later that evening. The Lady Griz will compete against MSU at 2 p.m., followed by the men's basketball game at 7 p.m., both taking place in the Adams Center. Tickets are available online.
Parking arrangements have been made, with Lot P reserved for those holding Griz basketball parking passes. Attendees of the pep rally are advised to park near the University Center in Lots A, F, R, V, or V1.
